Gordon Clune attended the “Bombardier Preferred Supplier” kick-off meeting held on November 4, 2009 in Montreal, Canada, as Bombardier has selected Klune Industries to be part of their “Preferred Supplier” network. Meanwhile, Klune is also working on the Bombardier “5 Star Initiative” and is excited to further develop the long lasting partnership existing between the two companies. Klune Industries values this as a great opportunity to develop its business with Bombardier and participate into the development of current and new aircraft programs including the new Bombardier C-Series.

Klune Industries was honored today in receiving the Mayor of the City of Los Angeles, Antonio Villaraigosa, at its North Hollywood facility.  The Mayor inaugurated Klune’s new customer service and engineering office space that will allow Klune to even better support its customers in achieving their goals.

In his speech to Klune employees, the Mayor commended Klune Industries for its engagement in the North Hollywood community and for the efforts Klune is making in developing its work force through continuous training, including that in unison with North Hollywood’s Los Angeles Valley College.

Mayor Villaraigosa also had the opportunity to tour the North Hollywood facility and interact directly with many employees.  The Mayor was impressed with the diversity of the Klune team, an effective  combination of long-term employees and recent hires who collectively participate in Klune’s ambitious expansion plan.
